By creating an account or using ORL-HNS, you agree to these terms.
Educational use only
ORL-HNS is an education and revision resource. It is not medical advice, a clinical decision support system, or a substitute for current local policy, original guidance, supervision and professional judgement. Medical content can become outdated or contain errors; verify material before applying it to patient care.
Your account and material
Keep access to your account secure and provide accurate sign-in information. You retain ownership of material you create. You give ORL-HNS permission to host, process and display it only as needed to operate the service. Do not upload patient-identifiable information, unlawful material, malware, or content you do not have the right to use.
Books and private study imports
You are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to use PDFs, extracts, images and imported questions. Private-study imports must remain private unless they have been independently rewritten and cleared for publication. Access to a file through the app does not grant copyright permission.
External websites and video
The research browser opens third-party services. ORL-HNS does not control their content, availability, advertising, cookies or privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and you should assess external medical information independently.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep ORL-HNS reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage or that every feature will always be available. Keep independent copies of important material. To the extent permitted by law, ORL-HNS is provided without warranties and is not liable for clinical, professional or other decisions made using the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension, termination and changes
Access may be restricted for misuse, security risk or breach of these terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may update these terms when the product or law changes; continued use after notice of a material update means you accept the revised terms.
